Knowles was one of four Mids to start and play in all of the team’s 54 games last season
- Racked up 60 hits to finish third on the team and average .287 at the plate to cap off his career
- His 85 total bases were third-most on the team, where he also slugged .407 and had an on-base percentage of .395
- Finished second on the team with 13 stolen bases
- Compiled a .991 fielding percentage with 110 putouts and an assist during is 54 starts in centerfield

- Transformed himself from the team's starting third baseman and nine-hole hitter in 2016 to its leadoff hitter and starting centerfielder in 2017

- Second-most steals on the team with nine and third-most walks with 29. Ranked third on the team in on-base percentage (.426) and fifth in batting average (.307)
- In the Patriot League rankings, Knowles' on-base percentage was third-best and his walk total was fourth
- Had a team-high 14 RBIs in 18 games of regular season Patriot League play
- Trusted with his bat control, he laid down a team-high eight sacrifice bunts
- Struck out just 14 times over 166 at bats for the 78th-best "toughest to strike out" ratio (11.9) in the NCAA Division I
- Recorded multiple hits in 13 games and multiple RBIs in seven contests
- Posted a seven-game hitting streak (4/17-4/27)
- Had five combined hits in the first two games of the NCAA Raleigh Regional in games versus North Carolina State (6/3) and Saint Mary's (6/4). His three hits against SMC were a career-high

Freshman (2015):
- Came off the bench six times early in non-conference play before taking over the starting third base role on March 21 and not missing a game during the second half of the season; eventually ended up with 37 total starts
- Recorded the second-most successful sacrifice bunts in Patriot League with nine
- Strong-armed defender with solid glove, he only was charged with three errors over 20 conference games
- Registered his first career hit, RBI and run versus Coppin State (2/25) in a substitute role
- Collected eight hits over his first two weekend series as a starter against Princeton (3/21-22) and Bucknell (3/28-29) for a .333 batting average (8-24); added three runs scored and two RBIs over that span
- Netted his first career home run with a three-run, inside-the-park knock versus Lafayette in game two of the Patriot League semifinals (5/9)
High School:
- A three-sport athlete at South Kitsap High School; earned three varsity letters in baseball for head coach Marcus Logue, as well as three in football (WR, S) and two in basketball (G)
- Named to the WSBCA Class 4A All-State Second Team in 2014, in addition to his previous honor to the All-Narrows League 4A First Team the same year
- Served as baseball team captain as a senior
- Helped squad to the All-Narrows League title and runner-up at the 4A Washington State Championship game in both 2013 and 2014
