Naval Academy Athletics

Christian Covyeau is in his second year as the video coordinator at the Naval Academy after initially serving in the recruiting department for the Midshipmen.

Covyeau is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Col. and got his Master’s in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville in 2021.
 
Covyeau started out as a quarterback at Fort Lewis before moving over to the video side where he supervised the Fort Lewis camera crew. 

At Louisville, he served as the Football Technology graduate assistant and coordinated the Louisville Football video services and technology, while managing a team of 10+ interns to film practices and games while also editing film for team review as well as self-scouting and opponent scouting reports for the coaching staff.  Louisville won the 2019 Music City Bowl under ACC Coach of the Year Scott Satterfield.

Covyeau has also worked as a Strategic Partnerships Manager with DiverseNet Inc. (2014-18), as a Player Participation Analyst for Pro Football Focus (2018-19), as a football recruiting coach at Next College Student Athlete (2021-22) and a scouting intern with the Hula Bowl All-Star Classic (2021-22).
