•    At Navy: Enters the fall vying for playing time at linebacker and on special teams.

• High School / Personal: A 2021 graduate of Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tenn., Oatsvall attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2021-22 academic year ... three-sport athlete who earned letters in football, track & field and wrestling ... named D2 AAA All-State (Tenn.) his senior season ... garnered All-Region football honors as a junior (safety) and senior (linebacker) ... served as football team captain his junior and senior years ... led Brentwood Academy to the state titles in football and track his freshman and sophomore seasons ... actively involved in mission trips where he has helped build houses in Africa and a church in Honduras ... also received offers from 7 other schools, including Army ... brother, Jeremiah, played quarterback at Austin Peay (2017-20), Memphis (2021) and as a grad transfer at Tennessee Tech (‘22) ... he was the 2017 OVC Freshman of the Year and a Second-Team All-OVC selection ... he completed 249 of his 467 passes for 3,495 yards with 44 touchdowns during his Austin Peay career ... additionally, he rushed for 1,448 yards and 14 TDs ... he transferred to Memphis to play wide receiver as a walk-on, but was a reserve quarterback and did not see any playing time ... father, Scott, attended San Diego State where he was a punter for the football team ... son of Scott and Gwen Oatsvall ... majoring in history.
