•    At Navy: Enters the fall second on the depth chart at cornerback ... had a solid sophomore campaign despite battling multiple injuries ... a starter in 2 games during his career (0 Fr // 2 So) ... has earned 1 varsity letter.

•    2024: A starter in 2 of the 7 games in which he played, he closed out the season with 12 tackles, including a tackle for loss ... also had an interception, 3 pass breakups and forced a fumble ... battled a hamstring injury throughout the season ... chipped in a solo stop in the Mids’ Armed Forces Bowl victory over Oklahoma ... turned in a solo tackle and broke up a pass in the road victory at East Carolina ... recorded his first-career interception at returned it 36 yards in the Mids’ win at USF ... also broke up a pass and made a solo tackle ... recorded a career-high 6 tackles, including his first-career tackle for loss in Navy’s win over Temple in the AAC opener ... also forced a fumble and broke up a pass - both firsts of his career ... made his collegiate debut in the Mids’ opener against Bucknell where he made 2 solo stops.

• High School / Personal: A 2021 graduate of Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Md., Oniha attended Fork Union Military Academy during the 2021-22 academic year and the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2022-23 academic year ... born in Baltimore to Nigerian parents, he attended elementary school and a year of middle school in the U.S. ... his family returned to Nigeria where he attended  2 years of middle school before returning to Maryland for his high school education ... he is the second born of quadruplets ... his brothers Osezenoria (oldest) and Oseikhuemen (youngest) will graduate from UMBC this year, while his sister Obehiaghe graduated from UMBC in the spring of 2025 ... his given name is Irabonoise and means “I lift my hands to praise the Lord” ... son of Ogbeide and Gloria Oniha ... parents are from the Esan tribe ... majoring in general science ... earned a 3.38 grade-point average this spring.
