• High School / Personal: A 2014 graduate of North Davidson High School, Hicks was a two sport standout who earned letters in football (4) and track & field (4) ... a three-time all-conference football selection who was named All-Northwest his senior year as well as the Davidson County Defensive Player of the Year ... led his high school team to the 2012 conference football title behind a 14-1 record ... registered 352 career tackles, 72 tackles for loss and 7 interceptions ... also blocked 2 punts his senior year ... was the county champion in the shot put his senior year and placed sixth in the region in the discus ... member of the National Honor Society and served as the Student Council Vice President ... son of Scott and Leigh Hicks.
