At Navy: Enters the fall second on the depth chart at right tackle ... moved from center back to his original position of offensive tackle in the spring ... battling Matt Molloy to be the third tackle in the rotation ... has a great attitude and work ethic.

High School / Personal: Started his collegiate career at the University of Albany as a soccer goalie ... left Albany to work at ground zero for over a year after 9/11 ... enlisted in the Navy and spent three years achieving the rank of E-4 ... decided to play football while attending the Naval Academy Prep School ... his New York City club soccer team won the National Club Championship the summer before he enlisted in the Navy ... did not play football in high school ... earned three letters in soccer and two in baseball at Northern Valley Regional High School ... brother, Jonathan, was an All-Big East baseball player at Rutgers last spring ...
