At Navy: Enters the fall as Navy's long snapper on both punts and PAT/field goals ... last year was the long snapper on just punts ... his clean of 330 pounds is one of the best marks on the squad ... has earned one varsity letter.

2007: Played in 12 games ... made his first-career tackle against Army.

2006: Saw action in two games. 2005: Did not see any varsity action.

High School / Personal: Earned four letters in football and three in wrestling at LaPorte High School ... football team won the conference title his senior year ... was an all-state linebacker as a senior for the Slicers ... high school teammate of former Notre Dame wide receiver and current Chicago Cubs minor league pitching phenom, Jeff Samardzija ... father, Rob, played football at Ball State ... Scott Matthew Reider ... Born-10/11/85.
