Naval Academy Athletics

As a Junior: Alex competed in 19 events during her Junior Year, including 2 national championships. Her top finishes include a 3rd place finish at ACC[apos]s, a 3rd place finish at the Graham Hall Team Race, and a 3rd place finish at the Prosser Trophy. She was named an All-American Crew. As a Sophomore: Alex competed in 17 events during her second year at Navy, including 2 national championships, which included crewing for fleet racing and team racing for both the coed and women[apos]s teams. Some of her top finishes included a 3rd place finish at the MAISA Women[apos]s Fall Dinghy, a 3rd place finish at the Prosser Trophy, and a 2nd place finish at the MAISA Women[apos]s Spring Dinghy. As a Freshman: Alex competed in six events during her first season at Navy. These include crewing for fleet racing with the coed team and team racing. Her top performance in fleet racing was a second place overall finish at the Arrigan Memorial and her top performances in team racing include a win at the Tom Noble Team race as well as a second-place finish at the Admiral Moore Team race. Prior to Navy: Grew up in Frederick, Md. Graduate of Saint John[apos]s Catholic Prep class of 2011, team captain of varsity cross country and track teams. Danced ballet for 14 years at Frederick School of Classical Ballet. Daughter of Joe and Kirsten and sister of Dominique and Jacqueline. Majoring in Oceanography.
