Biography

As a Junior (2023-24): Won the Women’s ACCs Round 1A in the fall before earning second place in the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy Championship. In the spring, placed third in the America Trophy conference championship. Earned third place in the A division of the Women’s Nationals Semifinals and moved on to earn 12th in Finals. Also participated in the Eastern Open National Semifinals and contributed to an eighth place finish

As a Sophomore (2022-23): Competed in 15 regattas. During her fall season, she earned first at Navy Women’s, second at Women’s Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship and second at Yale Women’s Interconference. During her spring season, she earned top-5 finishes at ODU Women’s Team Race, Finger Lakes Women’s Team Race, and MAISA Women’s Team Race Conference Championship. Also finished third at MAISA Women’s Dinghy Championships, first at College Sailing Women’s Western Semifinal and competed in College Sailing Women’s National Championship, earning 16th. Earned Honorable Mention All-American Women’s Skipper.

As a Freshman (2021-22): Competed in 10 regattas. She placed third at the MAISA Spring Women’s Championships and Women’s Nationals Semifinals. Competed in Women’s Nationals in the spring, where she placed 13th and earned her varsity letter.

Prior to Navy: Native of Marietta, Ga., and grew up sailing at the Atlanta Yacht Club. She co-founded the Walker School sailing team. She was the captain of her sailing team for her junior and senior years. Has two siblings, Carlyn and Eric. Her older sister, Carlyn, was also on the Navy sailing team.
