Biography

As a Junior (2024-25): All-MAISA First Team Open Skipper. Competed in 15 regattas. Top fall finishes include first place at the War Memorial, fourth place at MAISA Top 9 Open and fifth overall at the Chesapeake Invitational. In the Spring, earned five first-place finishes at the GW Team Race, Graham Hall Team Race, Szambecki Team Race, the Prosser Trophy and the America Trophy. Also competed at ICSA Open Team Race National Championship, earning ninth place, and ICSA Open Fleet Race Eastern Semifinals, earning seventh in B division.

As a Sophomore (2023-24): Jack competed in 16 regattas. Fall highlights include second at the Chesapeake Open. Spring highlights include first at the DC Team Race, third at St. Mary’s Team Race, first at Aaron Szambecki Team Race, second at Prosser Trophy and third at the America Trophy. Also sailed in the ICSA Open Team Race Nationals, placing 11th, and in the Open Dinghy Nationals, placing eighth.

As a Freshman (2022-23): Competed in eight regattas. Highlights include finishing first in the Washington College Fall Open, second in the Graham Hall Team Race and third in the Admiral Moore Open Team Race. Also competed in the ICSA Open Eastern Semifinal, earning ninth overall.

Prior to Navy: Sailed competitively at Wellesley High School, winning the Massachusetts High School State Championships. He also competed in 29ers, winning a Skiff Generation Grand Prix and competing at the world level. In high school, he also played soccer and sailed c420s. Has three siblings, Brady, Shea, and Shannon.
