Biography
As a Junior: Jonah competed in 14 regattas over the fall and spring season. His notable finishes include 1st place at the GW Team Race, St. Mary’s Interconference Team Race, the Prosser Trophy and Navy Spring. Jonah also competed in the semifinals at Nationals.
As a Sophomore: Jonah competed in 4 regattas and was a reserve for 3. His top finishes include 3rd at Navy Spring Fleet Race, 1st at MAISA South Team Race and 1st at Team Race Nationals.
As a freshman: Jonah competed as a crew in 5 regattas and placed on the podium in 4. His top finishes were 2nd at the Riley Cup, 2nd at the St. Mary’s Team Race Inter-Conference regatta, and 2nd at the GW Team Race.
Prior to Navy: From San Diego, California. Jonah Graduated from Point Loma high school in 2019, where he played an influential role on his high school sailing team. Most of Jonah’s experience is in the flying junior. Some of Jonas' top events include the Mallory and Baker trophies. Jonah has three siblings: Jacob, Josh and Jayson.
