Biography

As a Freshman: Michelle sailed in 10 events as a crew her freshman year. She had three top-five finishes. Her top performances were a third at the David Lee Arnoff Trophy and a third at the John Jackson Team Race. Prior to Navy: Grew up in Monterey, Calif. Graduated from Pacific Grove High School in 2014. Sailed FJ's and Shields while growing up in Monterey. Also participated in swimming, tennis and track. Daughter of Scott and Karen Katz. Sister to Stephen.
