Naval Academy Athletics

As a Junior (2023-24): Competed in 14 regattas this year. In the fall season, tallied two top-three finishes at the Chesapeake Invitational and the War Memorial Regatta. In the spring, captured first at the Aaron Szambecki Team Race and second at the Prosser Trophy. Also competed in the ICSA Open Team Racing National Championship, earning 11th, and the Open Dinghy National Championship, earning eighth. 

As a Sophomore (2022-23): Competed in 16 regattas. During the fall season, he placed first in both the Chesapeake Invitational and the 2022 Truxtun Umsted. During the spring season, he earned first at GW Team Race and the America Trophy as well as second in the Graham Hall Team Race and third in the Admiral Moore Open Team Race. Also earned ninth in the ICSA Team Race Nationals, fifth in the ICSA Open Eastern Semifinal and 14th in the ICSA Dinghy National Championship.

As a Freshman (2021-22): Sailed in 17 regattas. He placed first at the GW Team Race, St. Mary’s Interconference Team Race, the Prosser Trophy, and the Navy Spring Regatta. He competed in both the ICSA Team Race Nationals and ICSA Fleet Race Nationals, placing sixth and 11th, respectively. Earned Second Team All-MAISA Crew.

Prior to Navy: Native of Severna Park, Maryland and attended the Severn School and Portsmouth Abbey for a year of prep school. He grew up sailing in the Annapolis area and sailed for Severn School in the fall and spring seasons. He has a sister, Alexa. He finished second at Fleet Race Nationals and fifth at Team Race Nationals.
