Biography

As a Freshman: Will sailed in six events his freshman year as a crew for the coed and team racing teams. He had three top-10 finishes in B division at the Tom Curtis, MAISA South and the Rose Bowl regatta. Prior to Navy: Grew up in Palos Verdes, Calif. Graduated from Palos Verdes High School in 2014. Sailed FJs at Cabrillo Yacht Club while growing up. Played tennis prior to coming to the Naval Academy. Son of Will and Joy Hawley. Brother of Ariel.
