- Did not see any action during the track and field season
- Competed in three cross country races in the fall
- Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll 2010-11 (Freshman Season):
- Clocked a 2:33.64 in the 1,000m run at the Navy Four-Team Meet
- Ran a 4:22.88 in the mile run at the Wesley Brown Invitational
- Posted a 9:11.19 in the 3K at the Navy Invitational
- Ran a 2:00.18 in the outdoor 800m at the Widener Invite
- Ran a 4:06.7 in the 1,500m run at the Point Loma Open
- Competed in one meet on the cross country team in the fall High School / Personal:
- California Interscholastic Federation-San Diego Section cross country individual champion in 2009
- Son of Kevin and Mary Joe McCarey
- Father, Kevin, ran cross country at Villanova
- Majoring in history
- Has been named to the Commandant's List four times and the Dean's List twice
