2020 Cross Country (Freshman Season):
Did not compete in either of the Mids' two meets in an abbreviated 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
High School / Personal: Earned 12 combined letters for cross country (4), indoor track & field (4) and outdoor track & field (4) at Christiansburg High School … 2019 Virginia High School League Region 3 Class D Runner of the Year after winning the individual title at the regional championship … VHSL Region 3 Class D All-Region Cross-Country Team in both 2018 and 2019; placed seventh in the state as a senior in 2019 after going for 17th in 2018 … served as team captain of his XC team as a senior … member of Christiansburg’s 2019 Virginia 3A State Championship-winning 4x800m indoor relay team … 2019 VHSL 3A indoor track and field state runner-up in the 1000-meter; placed fourth in the 1600m at the same state championship … helped Christiansburg to the 2019 VHSL Class 3A Indoor Track & Field State Championship … ran in high school with Liberty’s Trey Wilson (’24) … took college-level courses at New River Community College … son of David and Kristi.
