Prior to Navy:
• Competed at the club level at the Frisco location of WOGA Gymnastics and was coached by Sergei Pakanich
• 2017 Region 3 Vault Champion
• Tied for first on the vault and second on both the floor exercise and parallel bars at the 2017 Texas State Championships
• Placed second on the floor exercise, third on the vault and fourth in the all-around at the 2015 Junior Olympics (Level 10 - 15 years old)
• Three teammates at WOGA are competing in college: Nebraska's Griffin Kehler ('21), Army's Mathew Davis ('22) and Air Force's Nathan Reed ('22)
• Graduated from Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas before prepping at St. Johnsbury Academy and later attending Collin College (TX)

• Son of John and Nancy
• Parents were both collegiate gymnasts, John at Southern Connecticut State and Nancy at Minot State University
• Hobbies include hunting, fishing and being outdoors
