Biography

2004: Strong all-arounder, has focused on pommel horse, rings, vault, p-bars and high bar in the second half of the season ... posted an eighth-place finish on the vault at the USA Collegiate Championship... picked up a first-place finish on vault at the All-Academy Championships with a 9.15 and took third on floor with an 8.85 ... picked up second-place finishes on the parallel bars and high bar at the Navy Open.

2003: Solid contributor in his freshman campaign ... finished 13th in the all-around (48.85) at the USA Collegiate Championship ... competed in the all-around at the NCAA Qualifying Meet ... posted a 49.15 in the all-around to finish fourth at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship ... one of only two Navy gymnasts to place in the individual event finals at ECAC[apos]s, finishing fifth on the vault (9.0) ... registered an all-around total of 49.55 against William & Mary ... finished second on the parallel bars against Army (8.25) ... tied for fourth on the high bar (8.20) in a tri-meet against Springfield and William & Mary.

Personal: Competed for 12 years as a member of the Top Flight Gymnastics Club ... won the 2000 Maryland State All-Around Championship ... three-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier ... also earned one letter as a pole vaulter on the track & field team ... son of Corey and Gale Regelin ... majoring in economics ... born June 18, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

On what the sport of gymnastics means to him... 'The sport of gymnastics has had a huge influence on my life. It has given me the discipline needed to be successful at everything I do in life.'
