Barnard in 2005:
Suffered a shoulder injury which kept him out of competition for much of the season ... saw action in two games -- the opener against Providence in Connecticut in which he grabbed his first-career ground ball and the Mids[apos] triumph over Lafayette at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

2004:
Competed in five games as a reserve close defenseman ... all five games in which he played were Patriot League contests ... played his first-collegiate contest March 13 against Bucknell at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

2003:
Gained experience playing with the junior varsity squad.

Personal:
Four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Penfield High School, while earning five letters in hockey ... garnered first-team all-county lacrosse recognition as a senior and honorable mention as a sophomore ... a 2002 first-team all-county defender for Penfield High[apos]s hockey squad ... has an avid interest in RC airplanes and solar cars ... served as RC Club President, as well as the Solar Car Club President at his high school ... son of Herbert and Pamela Barnard.
