McGoogan in 2012 (Jr.): Ranks 17th on Navy[apos]s career faceoff wins list with 32 ... trails 16th-place Dan Decker (2005-08) by 20 ... won two of the six draws he took against 12th-ranked Colgate ... also picked up one ground ball ... came in to spell Logan West against Holy Cross where he won a eight of the 13 draws he took ... the eight wins marked a career high, bettering his previous mark of seven wins in last year[apos]s Lehigh contest ... made his first appearance of the season in the Mids[apos] win over Towson where he went 0-for-1.

2011 (So.): Won five of the 10 faceoffs he took against Johns Hopkins in the season finale ... also grabbed a career-high three ground balls ... took six draws against Army, winning three ... claimed one of the two faceoffs against Maryland ... won just one of his five draws against Georgetown in what was his first appearance since the Lafayette contest ... won the game[apos]s final faceoff, but was stripped of the ball as time ran out ... was 2-for-2 on draws in Navy[apos]s win over Lafayette ... picked up ground balls on each of the wins ... recorded just one win in the five faceoffs he took at Bucknell ... won a career-high seven draws in the Mids[apos] Patriot League opener at Lehigh ... also took a career-best 22 faceoffs for a 31.8 win percentage ... won three of the nine faceoffs (.333) he took against North Carolina ... both wins and attempts were career highs ... made his career debut in the Mids[apos] opener against VMI where he won just one of his eight draws (.125).

2010 (Fr.): Did not see any varsity action ... missed the majority of the season after suffering a broken jaw in a preseason spring scrimmage.

More on McGoogan: A 2008 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, McGoogan attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2008-09 academic year ... a two-sport athlete who lettered in lacrosse and track & field, he served as captain of the lacrosse team three years ... an all-league lacrosse performer his junior year, he was named an All-American as a senior ... son of Michael and Lori McGoogan ... majoring in History ... his service assignment is Special Warfare.
