• Garnered Second-Team All-Patriot League honors ... he is just the 6th Navy freshman to earn All-Patriot League recognition and only the 2nd Navy freshman offensive player to be selected all-league (2007, Basil Daratsos, M / 2014, Brady Dove, FO / 2021, Jackson Bonitz, D / 2024, Zach Hayashi, FO / 2024, AJ Marsh, LSM)
• Ranked 15th among Inside Lacrosse’s Early Season Top-30 Impact Freshmen and moved up to 12th among the Late Season Top-30 ... closed out the year ranked 13thin the Final Impact Rankings
• A starter in 13 of the 15 games in which he played, he closed out the year as the team’s 2nd-leading scorer with 31 points on 18 goals and 13 assists
• With a 4-point performance against Bucknell, he became only the 17th freshman in program history to reach 30 points ... teammate William Goers scored his 30th point against Army (4.12) ... Goers and Ponzio are just the 3rd tandem in program history to reach the 30-point mark as freshmen, joining Paul Basile and Tom Hanzsche in 1986 and Tucker Hull and Sam Jones in 2011 ... current teammates Henry Tolker (2022 / 23-11=34) and Mac Haley (2023 / 16-14=30) also reached 30 points in their respective freshman year
• Held without a point for just the 2nd time in his career, but caused 2 turnovers and grabbed 2 ground balls against Loyola
• Scored a goal and dealt out a career-high 3 assists in Navy’s win at Bucknell
• Produced 2 goals and an assist in Navy’s overtime loss to #5 Army
• Dealt out a pair of assists in the win over Lafayette
• After his 8-game point-scoring streak was snapped by Holy Cross, he bounced back to score a pair of goals on the road against Colgate (3.29)
