• Has earned Commandant’s List (S2018, F2018, S2019, F2020) accolades multiple times
• His father, Bill, graduated from the Naval Academy in 1987 and later served as the Commandant of Midshipmen at the Naval Academy from 2013-15
• A Rear Admiral in the Navy, he assumed duties as vice director, Joint Staff, at the Pentagon in September 2019 after recently completing a tour as Commander, Carrier Strike Group 15
• A three-year football letter winner, he was co-captain of the 1986 team
• One of just three quarterbacks in Navy history to throw for more than 1,000 yards in three different seasons, he holds the school record for career touchdown passes (29) and ranks second in school history in career completions (381), single-game passing yards (399) and career passing yards (4,582) ... he also holds the school record for single-game completions (37)
• Mother, Amy, graduated from the Naval Academy in 1987 and was a member of the cross country and track & field teams
• Sister, Brigid, graduated from the Naval Academy in 2013 and was a member of the cross country and track & field teams
• Brother, Michael, graduated from the Naval Academy in 2016 and was a member of the sprint football team
• Sister, Martha, graduated from the Naval Academy in 2019 and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team her first two years in Annapolis
