Syd Abernethy scored six goals and added an assist in Navy’s 16-15 victory over the Terps on April 18, 1981 ... additionally, the four goals were the most by a Navy player against the Terps since Geoff Walker punched in four against Maryland on April 6, 1996 ... making his first career start, he dealt out four assists against Johns Hopkins in the opener ... it marked his first career points.
2016 (Fr.): Made his collegiate debut in the Mids’ NCAA Tournament contest against Yale where he put a shot on cage ... also saw action a week later against Brown in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
