Nechanicky in 2013 (Jr.): Made appearances in 12 of the 13 contests as a member of the Mids[apos] extra-man squad ... scored the first two goals of his career in the Mids[apos] season-opening win over VMI ... fired in his first career extra-man goal in Navy[apos]s overtime loss to Georgetown.

2012 (So.): Primarily used on extra-man for the Mids ... saw action in six of the 12 contests ... made his collegiate debut in the Mids[apos] opener against VMI ... took one shot and grabbed a ground ball.

2011 (Fr.): Suffered a shoulder injury in the off-season ... spent a good portion of the season rehabbing.

More on Nechanicky: A 2009 graduate of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Nechanicky attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2009-10 academic year ... a four-year lacrosse letterwinner, he earned All-WCAC honors his senior season ... served as team captain of the lacrosse team as a senior ... member of the National Honor Society and Key Club ... brother, Bruce, was a three-year letterwinner for the Navy lacrosse team and graduated from the Academy in 2009 ... he was part of two Patriot League Championship teams (2007, `09) and four teams that played in the NCAA Tournament ... brother, Keith, played lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan and sister, Megan, rowed for Saint Joseph[apos]s ... high school teammate of Navy lacrosse player Pat Durkin, who is also a member of the Class of 2014 ... son of Robert and Nancy Nechanicky ... majoring in Oceanography.
