• One of 11 current NCAA rowers from Canisius High School, including fellow Mids, Liam Moffett `15, Andrew Karas `16 and Michael Hamp `16 (HW)

• Son of Patrick and Michelle
• Great Uncle, Rear Admiral Denys Knoll and cousin, First Lt. Ryan Steenberge graduated from USNA
