Naval Academy Athletics

At Navy:
2018: A regular in the top boats as a junior with seven races with the second varsity crew and one each with the first and third crews. Member of the 2V8 at the IRA Championship and 3V8 at the Eastern Sprints.
2017: Saw time with the second varsity (one race), third varsity (three races), fourth varsity (one race) and fifth varsity crews (one race); suited up with 5V8 at Eastern Sprints and helped team win the silver medal.
2016: Core member of second varsity crew as he raced in first seven competitions before moving to freshmen crew for a one-off race at IRA Championship.

Prior to Navy:
• Earned seven varsity letters competing in cross country (4) and crew (3) at McLean High School
• Two-time captain for his cross country (’13-14) and crew (’14-15) teams
• Named McLean’s Crew MVP as a senior
• Rowed with classmate and teammate Owen Shenk with the Thompson Boat Center

Personal:

• Father graduated from the Naval Academy in 1982
• Father played with Navy’s basketball team in 1979 and 1980
• Brother Daniel rowed at the University of Mary Washington
