At Navy:

• Rowed in the first freshman boat in 2010-11

• Four-time letterwinner in wrestling and three-time letterwinner in cross country and Smithville High School
• Helped lead cross country team to consecutive district titles in 2008 and `09
• Earned all-district and all-conference honors in wrestling as a junior
