Dan Visser completed his first season as an assistant coach at Navy in 2015.

Navy was 8-9-1 overall in 2015 and 4-5-0 in the Patriot League, tying for fifth place. The Mids spent two weeks receiving votes in the NSCAA Top 25 Poll and took impressive wins over West Virginia, Ohio State and UMBC, while also playing #23 Penn State to a 1-1 draw. Derek Vogel earned all-region and first-team all-conference honors.

Visser arrived at Navy after two seasons as head coach of Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts from 2013-14.

Visser amassed a two-year record of 8-26-1 as the head coach at Division III Eastern Nazarene. The Lions were 3-14-0 in his first season in 2013 and Visser improved the squad's record to 5-12-1 in 2014.

Prior to his time at Eastern Nazarene, Visser spent two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Division III Eastern University in Pennsylvania. During his two years at Eastern, the Eagles were 21-11-2 and saw 11 student-athletes earn all-conference honors.

Visser is a 2008 graduate of Messiah College, where he played for Brandt. During Visser's four-year career at Messiah, the team won three national championships and had a fourth trip to the NCAA Final Four. The team had an overall record of 89-6-2 (.928) during his four years.

Visser was a two-time team captain and received Regional All-America honors in 2007.

Visser graduated Magna Cum Laude from Messiah with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics. Visser earned his master's degree in business administration from Eastern University in 2013.

Visser holds an 'A' License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Visser and his wife, Kari, have a son, Coby.
