2025 Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference All-Academic Team

2024-25 // Freshman Year
• Due to a shoulder injury suffered in the preseason, he was unable to compete until February
• Recorded a 3-4 record, making his debut against Rochester where he defeated Nicholas Gill 11-5, 11-8, 11-8
• Turned in a 1-1 record in the CSA Divisional Team Championship, scoring an 8-11, 11-9, 11-5, 11-9 victory over Western’s Tyson Schille before dropping a tough five-game decision to MIT’s Collin Wen
• Closed out the season by pairing up with classmate Wenqing Tang to represent Navy at the U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship where the duo put together a 2-2 record
• Paired up with Hudson Poirier to represent Navy at the U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship where the duo put together a 2-2 record
• Along with teammates Matt Kang, Alexander Orr, Lucas Spiro, Wenqing Tang and Matt Wang, Uppuluri was named to the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference All-Academic Team

High School 
• 2024 graduate of the Millburn High School in Milburn, N.J.
• As a senior, received a certificate of national competition
• Also competed at high school nationals his senior year

• Son of Phanikumar Uppuluri and Anupama Vedaprakash Uppuluri
• Majoring in Foreign Area Studies (Asia), he owns a 3.90 grade-point average
• Named to the Commandant’s and Dean’s Lists in the Spring of 2025
• Ranked among the top 7 percent in the Class of 2028 (1,150) in Academic Order of Merit and the top 9 percent in Overall Order of Merit
• An exceptionally bright student who validated out of 6 classes upon his arrival to the Academy - U.S. Government and Constitutional Development, Introduction to Comparative Politics, Rhetoric and Introduction to Literature I, Human Behavior, Principles of Macroeconomics and Calculus I
