Produced a 15-13 record primarily playing the No. 6 spot on the ladder ... won seven of his first-eight matches of the season, including a 3-1 triumph over Denison[apos]s Sachin Obaid ... dropped a heartbreaker against Franklin & Marshall[apos]s Karan Behal at the CSA Team Championship after coming back from two games down.

Like classmate Patrick Kruse, Parashar also produced a 5-2 record in the seven matches in which he played ... dropped two of his first-three matches, but ended the season with a 4-0 mark ... among those final wins was a 3-0 triumph over Academy rival Air Force ... saw action at No. 8 (2-1) and No. 9 (3-1) ... played just one five-game match in which he came up short against Hobart[apos]s richard Reutter.

A 2002 graduate of the Singapore American School, Parashar was a varsity player for his high school[apos]s tennis squad ... high school team was the IASAS Tennis Championship in 2001 ... served as senior class president ... member of the Franch Honor Society ... father, Bharat, was a former professional squash player and was ranked as high as No. 8 in the world ... majoring in aerospace engineering ... son of Bharat and Arceli Parashar ... born June 2, 1984, in Singapore.
