2018-19 (Sr.) — Enters his senior year tied for 21st on Navy’s all-time wins list (58-23, 71.6).
2017-18 (Jr.) — Turned in an 18-9 record his junior year, primarily playing the #6 position ... earned a 3-0 sweep against Yale’s Thomas Kingshott during the regular season in what was one of his biggest victories of the season ... claimed a sweep over Cornell’s S. Obieta-Chichizola during the regular season ... also picked up a 3-0 victory against Williams’ Claude Smith ... went 1-2 at the CSA Team Championship, scoring a 3-0 victory over Cornell’s Alex Jung.
2016-17 (So.) — Came up just short of putting together back-to-back seasons with 20 wins, as he closed out his sophomore year with a 19-6 record where he played among the top half of the ladder ... put together a 2-1 record at the CSA Team Championship to help lead the Mids to a 13th-place finish ... among those wins was a spectacular come-from-behind victory over Bates’ Spencer Burt in five games and a 3-0 sweep against Western Ontario’s Adam Vanwyngaarden ... earned a 3-1 win over Virginia’s Jarett Odrich to help guide the Mids to a 5-4 win over the Cavs ... picked up a 3-0 win over Samm Fulton of Franklin & Marshall in Navy’s 5-4 victory in the regular-season finale.
2015-16 (Fr.) — One of four players on the roster to win 20-plus matches, wrapped up his rookie season with a 21-8 record ... saw most of his action at the #6 position where he posted a 16-6 mark ... turned in a 2-1 mark at the CSA Team Championship, earning a 3-1 win over Middlebury’s Ben Krant and a 3-1 win against Jackson McCord of #12 Franklin & Marshall ... opened the year by winning his first 13 matches, including a 3-0 victory over Armaan Singh of Northwestern for his first collegiate victory ... produced the Mids’ lone win against #9 Drexel, a 3-1 victory over Mark Kauf ... picked up a 3-1 win against Coley Cannon to help lead the Mids to a 5-4 win over Bates ... won a five-game slugfest over Middlebury’s Henry Pearson during the regular season.
High School — A 2014 graduate of Trevor Day School, Sweeney attended The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. during the 2014-15 academic year ... an outstanding squash player, he played in both national and international tournaments including the Italian Pioneer and the British Open ... named the MVP of The Hill School squash team in 2015.
