Biography
2018-19 (Sr.) — Enters his senior year tied for 24th on Navy’s all-time wins list (55-24, 69.6).
2017-18 (Jr.) — Put together a 16-9 record as a junior, seeing most of his time at the #5 and #7 positions ... earned one of his biggest wins of the season against #11 George Washington, defeating Billy Berner in four games ... also claimed a 3-2 victory over Tanay Murdia to help Navy secure a 6-3 victory over #17 Dickinson ... produced a 2-1 record at the CSA Team Championship, earning a four-game win over former teammate Josh Hughes who now plays for Drexel and a 3-0 sweep against Cornell’s Luke Park.
2016-17 (So.) — Closed out the season with a 17-7 record, winning his final two matches of the season which helped guide the Mids to a 13th-place finish at the CSA Team Championship ... defeated Bates’ McLeod Abbott, 3-0, and followed up with a 3-0 win against Western Ontario’s Bryan Hill in the finale ... his 3-0 win over George Washington’s John Bassett clinched a 5-4 win for the Mids ... followed up with a spectacular come-from-behind win over #7 Penn’s BG Lemmon ... fell behind with losses in the first two games, but won three in a row to captured the five-game victory ... his 3-1 victory over Franklin & Marshall’s Gavan Hitchenor also clinched a 5-4 win by Navy in the regular-season finale.
2015-16 (Fr.) — As a freshman, led Navy in the wins column with his 22-8 record ... played a number of positions on the lower half of the ladder, but saw most of his playing time at the #8 position ... won the first 13 matches of his career, including a 3-0 victory over Northwestern’s Shikar Soni in his first collegiate competition ... scored a 3-2 win over Varun Sharma to help lead the Mids to a 5-4 victory over #14 Williams ... swept Spencer Burt in Navy’s 5-4 win against #17 Bates ...earned a 3-1 win against #11 Franklin & Marshall’s Ricardo Machado in the regular-season finale ... turned in a 1-2 record in his first appearance at the CSA Team Championship, defeating Middlebury’s Cameron Dewey in three games.
High School — A 2015 graduate of Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Mass., Kjorlien was a four-year squash letterwinner who was also a member of the baseball team ... played the No. 2 spot on the ladder his junior and senior years ... member of the Deerfield Academy squash team that placed third at the 2014 New England High School Championship ... recipient of the John E.
