High School –– Graduated from James Madison Memorial High School ... earned four letters in swimming at the school ... the team won state (Wis.) titles in 2015 and ‘16 ... individually, won the 2017 state title in the 100 butterfly ... earned all-state accolades in three of his four years ... garnered All-America honors in 2017 ... captained the team as a senior ... served as the Senior Class President ... was a member of the National Honor Society ... swam for the Madison Aquatic Club.
Personal –– Grandfather graduated from the USNA.
