Naval Academy Athletics

Academic Information
•    Operations research major.
•    Earned Second-Team Scholar All-America honors from the CSCAA in 2024 and ‘25.
•    Earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2025.
•    Was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team in 2025.
•    Has received academic honors from the USNA in four semesters.
•    Was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2024 and ‘25.

Athletic Honors 
•    Was named the 2024 Patriot League Rookie of the Year.
•    Earned First-Team All-Patriot League honors in 2024 and ‘25.
•    Was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 12, 2023, as well as on Oct. 8 and Nov. 12, 2024.

2024-25 / Sophomore
•    Earned medals in all six events at the Patriot League Championship.
•    Individually, won the 200 back and 200 fly finals and placed second in the 100 back.
•    Also swam on relay teams that won the 200 free, placed second in the 400 medley and third in the 200 medley.
•    Qualified for the NCAA Championship in three events.
•    Placed 20th in the 200 back, tied for 26th in the 100 back (did not swim the 200 fly).
•    Set career-best times of 45.66 in the 100 back and 1:39.79 in the 200 back at the national championship.
•    The 100 back time is a Navy record and the 200 back clocking is both a Navy and Patriot League record.
•    Won each backstroke event nine times during the regular season and swam on 10 relay teams that won events.

2024 Summer
•    Qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in both backstroke events.
•    Tied for 12th place in the semifinals of the 200 backstroke (1:59.89).
•    Placed 12th in the trial heats of the event (1:58.96).
•    Also tied for 20th place in the 100 back (54.96).

2023-24 / Freshman
•    Won a trio of individual events at the Patriot League Championship.
•    Won the 100 and 200 back and the 200 fly.
•    Also swam on Navy’s winning 400 medley relay team and second-place finishing 200 medley relay team.
•    Posted NCAA B cut times in the 100 back, 200 back and 200 fly.
•    Recorded a career-best time of 46.18 in the 100 back against Army.
•    Posted a new career-best time of 1:40.71 in the 200 back as an exhibition swimmer at the ECAC Championship, a time that also set a new Navy, Lejeune Hall and Patriot League record.
•    Totaled 15 backstroke wins (eight in the 200 back) during the regular season, as well as 10 relay event wins.

High School
•    Graduated from Buford High School.
•    Earned four letters in swimming at the school.
•    Won the state (Ga.) title in the 100 back as a junior and senior also the 100 fly as a senior.
•    Set the state record in the 100 fly in his final season.
•    Swam on the club level for SwimAtlanta.
•    Was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal 
•    Sister, Caroline, graduated from Navy in 2025 and was an all-league member of the swimming team.
•    Father swam at Clemson and an uncle and aunt swam at Georgia.
