Academic Honors: Has been named to Navy[apos]s Commandant[apos]s List three times.

2010-11: Placed third in both butterfly events and fifth in the 200 IM at the ECAC Championship ... also helped Navy win the two medley relay events at the championship.

2009-10: Finished in seventh place in the 100 fly, eighth place in the 200 fly and 15th place in the 200 IM at the ECAC Championship.

2008-09: Placed third in the 200 fly, fourth in the 100 fly and 14th in the 200 IM at the ECAC Meet ... recorded season-best times in each of the three events at the championship.

2008 Summer: Competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100 butterfly (101st).

High School: Graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School ... tabbed as the North Carolina High School Swimmer of the Year following his senior season ... helped Charlotte Catholic to a state title and was a member of two state record-setting relay teams .... also selected as the MVP of the state meet ... tabbed as the 2008 Charlotte Observer North Carolina High School Athlete of the Year.
