Academic Honors -- Named to the Naval Academy[apos]s Commandant[apos]s List in both semesters of his freshman year.
2004-05 -- Won the 200 and 500 freestyle events and placed 10th in the 100 free at the Bison Invite ... his times of 48.68 in the 100 free and 4:44.68 in the 500 free were career-best efforts.
High School -- Graduated from Charlotte High School ... was a four-year member of the swimming team ... the program won the 2003 state title.
Personal -- Christian L. Nielsen ... born June 13, 1986, in Toronto, Canada ... son of Allan and Suzanne Nielsen ... mechanical engineering major.
