•    His swimming team won its conference and sectional titles and placed fourth at the state (Ill.) meet as a senior.
•    Twice served as the team captain and earned a pair of team MVP honors.
•    Earned all-state and All-America accolades as a senior.
•    Was a Scholastic All-American.
•    Swam on the club level for Chicago Wolfpack.
