Academic Honors -- Garnered 2011 Honorable Mention Scholar-All-America laurels from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America ... has been named to the Dean's List once and to the Commandant's List six times ... was selected to the 2013 Patriot League All-Academic Team ... was named to the 2011 and `13 Patriot League Academic Honor Rolls.

Athletic Honors -- Named First-Team All-Patriot League in 2011, `12 and `13 ... earned 2011 and `12 Honorable Mention Mid-Major All-America honors from CollegeSwimming.com.

2012-13 -- Placed second in the 200 breast, third in the 100 breast and fifth in the 500 free at the Patriot League Championship ... set a Navy and Patriot League record of 1:57.13 in the 200 breast at the meet ... also posted the No. 6 time at Navy in the 100 breast with his clocking of 55.14 during the championship ... ranked second on the Navy team with eight individual event wins during the regular season ... each of the eight victories came in the 200 breast.

2012 Summer -- Placed 83rd in the 200 breaststroke at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

2011-12 -- Advanced to the championship final in three events at the Patriot League Meet ... won the 200 breaststroke while placing third in the 100 breast and fifth in the 500 free ... totaled eight 100 breast wins and 10 victories in the 200 breast during the regular season.

2010-11 -- Won the 100 breast and placed second in the 200 breast at the Patriot League Championship ... also helped Navy win both medley relay events at the meet ... won both breaststroke events against Army ... was tabbed as both the Patriot League and the National Swimmer of the Week following the meet ... totaled 10 wins and three second-place finishes in his 13 breaststroke races during the regular season.

High School -- Graduated from East Chapel Hill High School ... was a four-year member of the school's swimming team ... won a combined four state titles over the course of his junior and senior years in the 200 breaststroke (two), 1000 free and the mile ... also won the 200 breast long course state crown ... garnered All-America honors in the 100 breast in his final two years ... was a member of the National French Honor Society ... swam for the North Carolina Aquatic Club.
