High School –– Graduated from South Mecklenburg High School ... lettered in swimming in each of his four years ... the team won state (N.C.) titles during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... individually, earned all-conference and all-state honors in each of his four seasons ... also served as the captain of the team as a senior ... earned both Scholastic All-America and All-America laurels in both 2016 and ‘17 ... was a two-time president of the National Honor Society ... swam for SwimMAC Carolina ...
