Naval Academy Athletics

Academic Honors –– Was selected as the 2018 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for his sport ... was named to the 2017 and ‘18 Patriot League All-Academic Team ... received 2018 academic all-district honors from CoSIDA for at-large sports ... earned Honorable Mention Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America in 2017 and ‘18 ... was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2016, ‘17 and ‘18 ... has received academic honors from the USNA in each six semesters (all Superintendent’s List).

Athletic Honors –– Earned Second-Team All-Patriot League honors in 2016 and ‘17 and first-team honors in ‘18.

2017-18 –– Placed second in the 100 fly and 100 free and tied for second place in the 50 free at the Patriot League Championship ... also helped Navy win both medley relay events and the 200 and 400 free relays at the meet ... set season-best times in three events at the meet: 100 fly - 47.71, 50 free - 20.25, 100 free - 44.23 ... won the 100 fly twice and the 100 free once during the regular season, while also totaling 11 relay event wins (seven in the free relay).

2016-17 –– Advanced to the championship final in three events at the Patriot League Championship ... placed fourth in the 100 fly and fifth in the 50 free and 100 free ... attained career-best times in each event at the meet ... posted efforts of 48.02 in the 100 fly, 20.35 in the 50 free and 44.65 in the 100 free ... also swam on Navy’s winning 200 free and 400 free relay teams at the meet ... totaled seven event wins during the regular season ... won the 50 free twice, the 100 free once and was part of four winning freestyle relay teams ... posted an NCAA B cut time in the 100 fly.

2015-16 –– Scored points in three events at the Patriot League Meet ... placed seventh in the 100 free and won the consolation final in both the 100 fly and 50 free ... set season-best times in the 50 free (20.47) and 100 free (45.09) events at the meet ... his top 100 fly time on the year was 48.60 (Army West Point).

High School –– Graduated from Fort Mill High School ... lettered in swimming in each of his four years at the school ... the team won a pair of state (S.C.) titles during his career ... set a state high school record in the 50 and 100 free events in 2014, then a set a state record in the 100 fly in 2015 ... served as the captain of the team.

Personal –– Computer science major.
