2020-21 - Sophomore: Named First Team All-Patriot League … Played in nine singles matches and nine doubles matches were each appearance came at the No. 1 position … In singles, Taggart finished with a 4-5 record at No. 1 singles where she posted a 2-1 Patriot League record … In doubles, all nine of her matches were with Miranda Deng as her partner and the pair finished with a 6-3 mark at No. 1 doubles … Selected as the Patriot League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on March 3 and April 21 … Named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team … Named the team’s Most Improved Player ... 2019-20 - Freshman: Taggart led Navy in singles and doubles wins during her freshman campaign … She posted an 18-6 record in singles matches while going 17-5 in doubles … Taggart went a perfect 9-0 in doubles matches during the spring season going 3-0 at each of the three doubles positions … In singles, Taggart went 6-2 in the spring with each appearance coming at singles spots No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 … Taggart partnered with Miranda Deng to win the doubles “B” flight at the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational … In singles competition during the fall, Taggart won the singles “C” flight at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational and she was the runner up in the singles “C” flight at the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational … Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll … ITA Scholar-Athlete

Personal: Earned a varsity letter at Bella Vista High School playing the No. 1 spot … Was named the 2017 and 2018 NorCal Mixed Doubles Player of the Year and was a three-time member of the intersectional squad representing NorCal … Earned All-Conference, Player of the Year, MVP and Best Sportsmanship honors during the 2018 season … Also won the Division I Section Championship and conference championship in 2018 … Was the Easter Bowl 16s Doubles Champion in 2017 … Named a four-star recruit from TennisRecruiting.net and was ranked as high as 106th in the recruiting rankings in 2019 … Graduated with the honors sash at Bella Vista, while also being a member of the French Honor Society and earning the seal of Biliteracy in French … Garnered recognition with English and Social Science department awards … Daughter of George and Lynn Taggart … Named to Naval Academy's Superintendent's List once, Commandant's List four times and Dean's List twice.
