High School / Personal: A 2023 graduate of Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, N.C., he contributed across multiple sports, earning varsity letters in outdoor track and field (3), basketball (2), and indoor track and field (1). In high jump, he set his high school’s record with a mark of 2.05m (6’ 9”). Over his outdoor career, he earned all-conference, all-region, and all-state honors three times. During his single indoor track season, he earned all-conference, all-county, and all-state accolades. He served his team as a captain for both the indoor and outdoor squads during his senior year. Outside of athletics, he served in student government as sophomore class president, junior class secretary, and Student Body President his senior year, while also participating in the National Honor Society.
