Career Performance List 2011-12 (Freshman Season):
- Ran a 23.46 in the 200m dash at the outdoor Navy Five-Team Meet
- Posted a 23.54 in the 200m at the indoor Navy Quad Meet, placing 13th
- Took ninth in the 200m at the Princeton Dual at 24.03 High School/Personal:
- A 2010 graduate of Grand Junction High School, where he earned four letters in track and field and one in football
- All-State honoree and team captain for track and field squad
- Competed in the sprints events
- Attended the Naval Academy Preparatory School during the 2010-11 academic year
- Son of Charles Shrum and Cynthia Lavold
- Majoring in naval architecture
- Has been named to the Commandant's List once
