• Finished 22nd at IC4A Championships

Sophomore Season (2007-08):
• Earned fourth-place points in javelin at the Patriot League Championship
• Recorded season-best and IC4A-qualifying distance of 190[apos]3' at Penn Invite
• Landed in 24th at the IC4A meet by virtue of a 183[apos]9' mark.

Freshman Season (2006-07):
• Produced season-best toss (190[apos]5') in the Star Meet against Army.

High School:
• A 2006 graduate of Grove City Area High School in Grove City, Pa.
• Earned three letters in track and football
• State runner-up, second-team all-region and county champion javelin thrower as a senior

• Son of Paula and Jon Gruber
• Cousins Alan Kraft [apos]72, Peter Rowell [apos]96 and Jennifer Hogan [apos]97 graduated are all Academy grads
• Majoring in ocean engineering
• Ranks 28th among his 1,064 classmates with a 3.93 GPA
• One of 13 Bowman Scholars for 2009-10 academic year
• In Overall Order of Merit, he is ranked 41st in the 2010 Class
• Appeared on Commandant[apos]s List five times, the Superintendent[apos]s list three times and to the Dean[apos]s List twice
