SOPHOMORE – 2014: Saw action in 23 games and registered 17 points on nine goals and eight assists … his assist total was tops amongst the sophomore class … four multi-point games, including three in the first five games of 2014 … twice record three-point efforts: versus Penn State-Behrend (2g, 1a) and Cerritos College (1g, 2a) … scored two goals against St. Francis-Brooklyn in third place game of the CWPA Championship Tournament.
FRESHMAN - 2013: Appeared in 31 games for the Mids in his debut season and recorded a class-high 19 points on eight goals and 11 assists ... took 23 shots and added 13 steals ... tied David Huber for the freshmen goal lead, but was the outright leader in assists and points amongst first-year players ... registered points (7g, 8a, 15p) in 10 of his first 13 collegiate games ... notched his first multi-point effort versus Connecticut College with three points courtesy of two goals and an assist ... also had multi-point games versus Fordham (1g, 1a), Mount San Antonio College (1g, 1a) and St. Francis (1g, 1a).
PERSONAL: A four-year letterwinner in water polo at Mission Viejo High School, Macias graduated in 2013 ... led team to the 2012 league title and was named a 2013 All-American, was a two-time team captain and two-time team MVP ... son of Craig and Alexandra Macias ... father, Craig, rowed crew at San Diego State and mother, Alexandra, competed in swimming at UC San Diego.
