CAREER: 93 goals, 42 assists, 135 points in 78 games

JUNIOR – 2014: Appeared in 28 games and found the back of the net for 44 goals … added 10 assists for 54 points on the season … ranked third on the team in total goals and points … tied with Carpenter Warren with 103 shots taken on net … consistently in the box score as he recorded points in 26 of 28 games played, including a team-, season- and career-high nine points (7g, 2a) at George Washington … had 13 multi-point games with nine of three or more … netted a hat trick in Navy’s third place victory over St. Francis in CWPA Tournament.

SOPHOMORE - 2013: Played in 26 games and registered 57 points on 35 goals and 22 assists ... took 82 shots and added 10 steals ... started the season off red-hot with 24 points (13g, 11a) in the five-game season opening Navy Open ... set single-game career-high during this stretch with seven points (4g, 3a) versus Iona ... after missing a small portion of the schedule with an injury, came back to collect points (22g, 11a) in 20 of the final 22 games ... collected nine points (7g, 2a) in CWPA Southern Division Tournament ... had 17 multi-point games with seven of three or more points.

FRESHMAN - 2012: Weggeland had a strong freshman campaign, scoring 24 points (14 g, 10 a) while appearing in 24 games ... his 24 points, 14 goals and 10 assists were the most for a Navy freshman in 2012 ... in just his third career game, scored a season-high four points (3 g, 1 a) in a win over Notre Dame (Ohio) ... added three goals in a win over the University of Toronto ... scored three points (2 g, 1 a) in the Navy Invitational win over Notre Dame (Ohio) and scored a pair of goals against Cerritos College .. dished out two assists against Gannon in the CWPA Southern Division Tournament ... Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Acedemic Excellent squad.

PERSONAL: Weggeland lettered four times in water polo at Riverside Poly High School, before graduating in 2012 ... was a 2012 first-team all-CIF and all-league selection as a senior ... earned second-team all-CIF and first-team all-league accolades as a junior in 2011 ... was a member of student council, National Honor Society and was a Riverside Special Olympics Volunteer coach ... son of Edward and Jennifer Weggeland ... majoring in quantitative economics.
