Biography

Lance of New Bern, North Carolina grew up sailing sunfish on the Neuse River in North Carolina before coming to the Naval Academy. He served as Pit aboard the Navy 44 Swift and as Spinnaker Trimmer aboard the Navy 44 Gallant. He has participated in the New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta, Newport Bermuda Race, Royal Bermuda Yacht Club Anniversary Regatta, Annapolis to Newport Race, and the Marion to Bermuda Race.
