Biography
Hoffman grew up racing part time on J/111 Partnership during Wednesday night races. Christian competed with the University of Connecticut Club Sailing Team as a crew and skipper aboard 420s and FJs. He has also competed in the 2019 12 Metre World Championship Regatta aboard K-18 Lionheart. While on VOST, he served as pitman aboard TP52 Hooligan, NA44 Tenacious, and NA44 Gallant. During his 2/C year he served as skipper of NA44 Gallant. Christian has competed for VOST in many races including Annapolis to Newport (2019 non-foiling line honors and 1st ORC Overall), Marion to Bermuda (2019 1st in class), NYYC Annual Regatta, Around Long Island Race, Block Island Race week, and McMillan Cup. Christian is proud to serve as the team captain of VOST.
