Panchevre grew up with no sailing experience ... while on VOST, Daniel served as a bowman and foredeck crew member aboard Navy 44s and the Farr 40 Ranger ... Daniel has competed in many events including regattas in Long Island, Martha's Vineyard, Newport's NYYC Race Week, Nantucket, and Booth Bay ... additionally, Daniel has competed in the Shields Trophy Regatta as well as many other local regattas ... competed in swimming and water polo in high school ... Class President and National Honor Society President in high school ... National Art Competitor ... son of Samuel and Maricela Panchevre ... majoring in economics.
