Biography

Lopez grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California before coming to Navy and joining VOST. He began sailing on Colgate 26's as a main trimmer and moved onto the Ker 50, Wahoo, as main trimmer and grinder where he competed in the Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race, the 175th Annual NYYC Regatta, and the Around Long Island Race.
